Miss Diane brings over 44 years of experience in the early years sector, with a career dedicated to nurturing children and supporting families. As Director of Chapter One (UK) Ltd—successfully operating for 21 years—and Chapter One International in Muscat, established 7 years ago, Diane leads with vision, commitment, and a wealth of expertise. In the UK, Chapter One has built a strong reputation for innovation, with inspection reports highlighting its progressive approaches to early learning and care. One of the group’s larger nurseries has recently achieved an outstanding grade for excellence, reflecting Diane’s commitment to continuous progress and development. In Muscat, Chapter One International has also become highly respected within the community, with Diane embedding UK best practice to ensure the highest standards of care and education are delivered overseas. Her background includes extensive work with children and young adults with additional needs, as well as experience as a maternity nurse assistant, providing vital support to new mothers in breastfeeding and early infant care. Diane’s passion for early childhood development is matched by her ability to build strong, trusting partnerships with parents and her team, ensuring the very best outcomes for children in her care.

His commitment to financial stability and forward planning plays a vital role in ensuring that high-quality training and support remain available to staff, enabling the organisation to deliver the best outcomes for children and families.

Miss Haifa is a highly experienced childcare professional and a passionate advocate for children’s wellbeing. She is a qualified Play Therapist and the proud Founder of Waai Centre for Family Counselling, where she has supported countless families through her expertise and compassion. With over 19 years of experience working as a Supervisor at the Ministry of Education, Miss Haifa brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and insight into early childhood development and family support. Her unique blend of professional expertise and genuine care ensures that every child in her care is nurtured in a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment.

Nicola Graham
Team leader
Miss Nicola has been an integral part of Chapter One International, Muscat, for the past seven years, having transferred from one of the Chapter One Nurseries in the UK. As a qualified Early Years Practitioner, with her induction and foundation training rooted in the UK, she confidently upholds the excellence and high standards that Chapter One is renowned for. In her role, Nicola leads the Muscat team, supporting staff and driving the continued growth and development of the nursery. She has built an exceptional rapport with parents, recognising the importance of strong partnerships in supporting children’s learning and development. Nicola actively involves parents in nursery life, ensuring that the experience is collaborative, enriching, and tailored to each child’s needs. A confident and dedicated professional, Nicola brings a genuine love of children to her practice every day. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and commitment shine through in all she does, making her a highly valued member of the Chapter One family.
